Wedding Ceremony Exits – Current Day Choices
Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012In the old days, when a couple left their wedding ceremony, well wishers tossed rice as they left the venue. As the green movement arrived, couples switched to earth-friendly birdseed. But as one bride once said “Who wants birdseed in my $100 hairdo? There must be a better alternative.” And the good news is there are a considerable number of tactics to mark the finishing of the marriage rite or marriage reception.
One of the most typical ways today is the utilization of wedding bubbles. Wedding bubbles come in all different sorts of types, from lovebirds, gowns & tuxedos, wedding cakes, champagne bottles to cowboy boots. Bubbles can be accented with ribbons that match the color palette of the wedding and can be individualized with names and dates. Couples often place these by the exit of the church/venue and friends and family then shower them with bubbles as they leave for their reception. The bubbles make for a terrific photo opportunity and there isn’t any mess to clean up after.
There are numerous other decisions that may make the day special. Wedding bells (that truly ring) can be distributed and used to revere the couple. They can be used again at the marriage reception to urge the new couple to kiss the night away.
Another option is to have helium balloons that match the marriage theme and colours. As the couple exits the church well wishers release the balloons. Often a message with email is placed in the balloon so that people who find the balloons can share their location with the couple after the big day. It’s good fun to get congratulatory messages from miles away.
For a more traditional exit, a flower petal toss is a chic and unique way to add romance and sophistication to the couple’s grand exit. Guests are given a few flower petals to shower the exuberant couple as they leave. Flower petals are extraordinarily cheap and once more, make a colourful photograph background They straightforward to clean-up if required and are a good way to finish the ceremony or reception.
Finally, one of the best ways to send off the couple is simply the sound of thunderous applause and large smiles from all of their guests.
